Magna Tyres Group has appointed Arnold van Woerkum as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening the company’s leadership team as they prepare for further international growth and future acquisitions.
Arnold joined Magna Tyres Group in 2025 in a senior finance leadership role and before joining Magna, he spent over ten years at Van Mossel Automotive Group, where he served as Manager Group Control.
This appointment comes at a key stage for Magna Tyres Group, as following the acquisition of Forrez, the group expects an annual turnover of approximately €275 million in 2026 and is pursuing a strategic growth plan aimed at reaching €650 million by 2029. Arnold will be responsible for strengthening Magna Tyres’ financial organisation and supporting strategic decision-making, with a particular focus on growth, financial control and future acquisitions.
Michael de Ruijter, President of Magna Tyres Group says, “Our ambitions require a strong financial organisation as we want to continue growing internationally, both organically and through acquisitions. Arnold brings more than ten years of group finance experience and already knows Magna Tyres and our organisation well. His appointment as CFO is an important step in preparing the company for its next phase of growth.”
Arnold adds “Magna Tyres has clear international growth ambitions and after a year within the company, I am excited to take on this role and contribute to that next phase. My focus will be on building the financial structure needed to support sustainable growth and future acquisitions.”
As Magna Tyres continues to grow, the company is also further strengthening its finance organisation, with several new positions currently open within Arnold van Woerkum’s team, offering finance professionals the opportunity to join Magna Tyres during this next phase of international growth.
