BKT makes two important management appointments

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT), global manufacturer of Off-highway tires, has appointed Jay Dhillon as president of BKT USA. An appointment that underlines the company’s commitment to strong leadership and its focus on innovation and quality in the U.S. market, BKT.
With over twenty years of international tire industry leadership experience, Jay will guide BKT’s U.S. subsidiary, headquartered in Ohio and his role includes overseeing the leadership team, aligning business units with the company’s long-term strategy, and expanding BKT’s footprint in new and existing markets.
Jay states, “I am excited to join the BKT team and contribute towards its forward-looking growth momentum, My goal is to lead the team and drive success during this dynamic time while upholding the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence.”
His leadership will centre on strengthening BKT’s presence in the Off-highway tire market with stronger strategic partner relationships and also broaden product offerings and deliver value to both employees and customers.
Alongside this strategic appointment, BKT has also confirmed that with immediate effect Minoo Mehta will assume the role of senior advisor for the Truck and Bus Radial tire business in the U.S. Another appointment supporting the company’s strategy to expand into this new segment, part of its broader strategic roadmap to 2030.
These important leadership changes at BKT mark a new phase of growth for BKT as it broadens its reach into new segments and continues expanding its presence in strategic global markets.
