Informa Takes TyreXpo Asia 2026 in Bangkok to the Next Level

For its fifteenth consecutive edition the TyreXpo Asia 2026 returned to Thailand last month after its highly successful debut at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in May 2024 marking yet another accomplished presentation of Asia’s leading exhibition for tyres, automotive repair equipment, tools, parts and accessories.
At the same time the event hosted by global trade show specialist Informa Markets took this edition of the show to even greater levels by incorporating a brand new AutoMROtive additional show to debut alongside TyreXpo Asia 2026 as a dedicated platform focusing on the future of automotive maintenance, repairs and operations and highlighting the latest advancements in automotive tools, workshop solutions and emerging technologies shaping the constantly evolving aftermarket business sector.
Tyre.Media were making their debut at the show as an enthusiastic media partner for TyreXpo Asia and the ‘only’ European based tyre and automotive media publication to support and cover the show ‘live’. With Tyre.Media’s Head of Digital Content John Stone covering the main activities throughout the three-day event.
As in previous years TyreXpo Asia Bangkok 2026 attracted and brought together an impressive series of key industry exhibitors and visitors under one roof including manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and buyers not just from Asia but from around the world to take part in invaluable business networking, an innovative showcase of products and services and general market discussion.
Informa Markets confirmed that during the three-day show, staff members interviewed a series of exhibitors and visitors at random and received many positive quotes including ‘It's an ideal place to meet new business connections’ ‘TyreXpo Asia is now an established venue in Asia’ ‘It’s a great business experience being at the show’ and ‘We have received a lot of interest in our products and services.’
The show officially received a total of 7,645 visitors from 71 countries and in excess of 100 high standard exhibitors covering four sectors of the market – tyres, automotive, logistics and transportation and agriculture.
In addition, there was a specially prepared International Tyre seminar on the second day of the show featuring carefully selected speakers covering various sectors of the global tyre market.
The ‘all new’ AutoMROtive event incorporated leading sector exhibitors providing a valuable one-stop platform for the latest automotive tools, workshop systems, diagnostic equipment and repair solutions with the latest industry technologies and business solutions.
Whilst the AutoMROtive conference featured incorporated a series of influential and industry-led speakers on topics covering future automotive trends insights that look set to shape the future of automotive maintenance, repair and aftermarket operations.
At the conclusion of the show, John was able to sit down with Alwin Seow, Deputy Event Director at Informa Markets to exclusively interview him for Tyre.Media on his ‘post-show’ reactions to the event.
When asked for his thoughts on holding two events under the same roof. Alwin stated, “The successful integration of the tyre and MRO sectors under one event indicates a strong endorsement towards a more unified industry approach. Delivering greater value, fostering deeper collaboration and setting a new benchmark for automotive aftermarket exhibitions in the Asian region.”
Tyre.Media also wanted to know what Informa Markets had learnt from holding this dual sector show which will also be staged at the TyreXpo Asia 2027 show in Singapore next year? Alwin added, “The Bangkok event has demonstrated a clear industry synergy where both sectors complement each other with workshops and Automotive MRO players are directly influencing tyre demands. Which further enhances values for our visitors and is highly impactful for the whole industry."
