Kumho Tyre Strengthens TBR Sales Leadership

Kumho Tyre UK’s newly appointed management team
Kumho Tyre (UK) has strengthened its sales and management structure within the truck and bus radial (TBR) segment with a senior promotion and a new appointment.
Tony McHugh has been promoted to Sales Director (TBR), having previously worked in a consultative role within the business. His promotion reflects his contribution to the development of Kumho’s truck tyre strategy and the continued expansion of its TBR portfolio.
Joining the company is experienced industry professional Stewart Little, who takes up the position of TBR Sales Manager.
Stewart brings more than 40 years of experience in the tyre industry, having started his career in 1983 and progressed from branch level through to senior management roles. His background covers retail, wholesale and sales management, providing him with broad knowledge of the commercial tyre market.
Prior to joining Kumho, Stewart spent eight years at Giti Tire, including five years in wholesale and most recently serving as UK Sales Manager. He also brings significant experience from a 26-year career with National Tyres.
Commenting on his appointment, Stewart Little said: “I am extremely proud to be joining Kumho Tyre, a brand with a well-established reputation as a premium mid-range manufacturer, offering reliable performance and strong value to both dealers and end users.
“Kumho is a name that requires little introduction, and I look forward to contributing to the continued development of the business. Having worked across all areas of the trade, I am pleased to bring that experience to the company at a time of positive growth.”
Richard Lyons, Managing Director at Kumho Tyre (UK) Ltd, added:
“We are delighted to congratulate Tony on his promotion to Sales Director (TBR) and to welcome Stewart to the Kumho team. These appointments demonstrate our ongoing investment in people as we continue to strengthen our position in the truck tyre market.
“With Tony’s leadership and Stewart’s extensive industry experience, we are well positioned to support our customers and drive the next phase of growth.”
