Linglong’s new Master Van tyre
Linglong Tire has confirmed the expansion of its Linglong Master product collection and has introduced the new Linglong Dura Master Van for light commercial vehicles, which has been specially designed for light trucks, vans and motorhomes and provides superior driving characteristics.
The Dura Master Van is designed specifically for original equipment customers and has been adapted to meet the special requirements and specifications of the automotive industry.
The Dura Master Van combines the latest technologies with a new, robust construction, plus an optimised tread design and wider tread to ensure less wear and significantly higher mileage compared to its two predecessors, the Linglong Green-Max Van and Green-Max Van HP.
A new and innovative tread compound has further optimised rolling resistance, leading to significant cost savings. Whilst the reinforced carcass structure ensures a high load capacity, especially important for fully loaded vehicles. In addition, a new sipe technology integrated into the tread pattern, in combination with the optimised silica tread compound, has significantly reduced braking distance in wet conditions, while handling characteristics in both wet and dry conditions have also been improved.
Wencheng Liu, Head of Product Management at Linglong Tire, says: “With the Linglong Dura Master Van, we are expanding our range in the light commercial vehicle sector and offering a high-performance solution for businesses as well as private households. The tyre combines high mileage with safety and efficiency – crucial factors for cost-conscious families and entrepreneurs who use their vehicles every day.”
The Dura Master Van will be built exclusively at Linglong’s state-of-the-art tyre factory in Zrenjanin, Serbia, and is currently available. A total of 29 sizes from 12 to 17 inches will be available from spring 2026. The Dura Master Van original equipment tyre is offered in two 16-inch sizes and is delivered directly to OEMs after approval by the respective manufacturers.
The Dura Master Van was developed by the European Development Center in Hanover following test drives carried out on the European test track in Idiada (Spain) and on the Group’s own Sino Asia test site in China.
