Goodyear has introduced the latest developments for its CheckPoint drive-over tyre inspection facility. Which now incorporates new features and further innovative technology in tread depth reading that increases the solution’s value beyond traditional tyre management.

The updated system extends the operating possibilities of both transport operators and service partners to grow their business and further improve efficiency. Including a modular tread depth sensor and advanced optical technology providing increased robustness, precision and serviceability.

Checkpoint is also now offering a series of new features including Live Display (Goodyear FleetHub) to provide the latest tyre measurements on any connected external display in a new simplified layout that’s specifically tailored for workshop use. Allowing technicians to instantly decide what actions are required and dealers to convert traffic into potential prospects.

Checkpoint also enables the monitoring of tyre condition creating opportunities to engage passing traffic, promote services and showcase the system’s value. Whilst a new fleet-level report gives users a detailed overview of tyre conditions and axle and wheel position.

Goodyear’s CheckPoint is fully integrated with Goodyear FleetHub, DriverHub and FleetOnlineSolutions applications, ensuring instant access to alerts, reports, and historical data. This connected ecosystem enables a smarter, more proactive approach to tyre and vehicle maintenance – supporting safety, efficiency, and business growth across the transport value chain.

With this enhanced version which combines important hardware and software implementations, we are building on a concept we introduced last year, broadening the application of Goodyear CheckPoint beyond fleets. Dealers and service providers now have even more tools to enhance their daily operations and use instant data to differentiate their service and attract new customers.
