The Apollo AWE 723+ dual excavator tyre
Apollo Tyres has recently increased its innovative AWE 723+ duel, excavator tyre range with the introduction of two new sizes – 280/70-22.5 and 220/80-17.5 for mid-sized excavators up to 16 tonnes and compact models between 6 and 10 tonnes. Taking the AWE 723+ range from 6 to 26 tonnes.
The AWE 723+ features a unique diagonal construction that ensures superior stability and durability and unlike traditional dual excavator tyres eliminates the need for a spacer to prevent debris and stones sticking between tyres. Whilst a unique broad dual tread guarantees greater sidewall protection even with extreme loads and in severe and challenging conditions. This design delivers a larger footprint that further enhances traction, stability and flotation on softer soils.
The extended range was launched at the recent Bauma Show. Laurence Bennett, Head Off-Highway Tyres at Apollo says, “Our latest development in the AWE 723+ range indicates the growing strength of our portfolio as Apollo’s infrastructure and construction industry activity continues to expand across Europe and on an international basis for tough off-highway tyres. The new sizes are now currently available for order throughout Europe.”
