The Vredestein Ultrac Pro UUHP summer tyre
Apollo has recently introduced 54 new size options for its Vredestein Ultrac Pro UUHP summer tire range, which has been specifically engineered for hypercars, sports cars and high-performance saloons and SUVs.
These new sizes are suitable for fitment on wheel rims from 18in to 22in and existing Ultrac Pro options are suitable for wheel rims as large as 24in.
This increase in the Vredestein Ultrac Pro UHP size range, has been generated by increasing demand during the tyre’s initial production run and leading to compatibility with an even wider range of performance focused vehicles.
This encouraging interest in the Ultrac Pro’s initial production run has prompted the development of the new sizes, ensuring compatibility with an even wider range of performance-focused vehicles.
The tyre features a unique asymmetrical sidewall design specially created by Italdesign, a redesigned bead area and lower sidewall area close to the rim, plus an all-new compound produced by a smart mixing process using state-of-the-art polymers, fillers and performance resins.
Yves Pouliquen, Apollo’s Vice President, Commercial Europe says “There has been a very positive response to our flagship performance tire following its introduction last year, and this size increase will ensure we are better able to meet fast-growing demand. The Ultrac Pro is already compatible with rims up to 24in, and we now cater for many of the most common size requirements across the UUHP category.”
