Nexen Tire Tyres Fitted to Hyundai’s Staria Electric Vehicle

Nexen Tire has announced that its Roadian CTX tyre is being supplied as original equipment (OE) on Hyundai Motor Company’s new Staria Electric and Staria luxury saloon vehicles.
The new Staria Electric is a multi-purpose vehicle designed for maximum practicality and passenger comfort. Its electric powertrain delivers high instant torque, while the vehicle’s heavier weight places greater demands on tyres in terms of durability and ride quality.
The Roadian CTX has been developed to meet these demands, with Nexen Tire’s AI-based performance prediction system used to optimise ride quality across a wide range of driving conditions. The tyre delivers consistent all-season performance and combines ride comfort with enhanced durability, handling, and structural strength to ensure reliability under high-load and high-torque conditions.
The Roadian CTX will be supplied for both domestic and export models destined for markets in Europe, Oceania, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Nexen Tire pursues a ‘one-tire’ strategy, developing tyres that deliver optimised performance across all powertrains, whether electric, hybrid, or internal combustion. On this basis, the company has supplied OE tyres for key Hyundai models including the Palisade, NEXO, and IONIQ 6, as well as a broad range of vehicles from premium global brands. In the purpose-built vehicle segment, Nexen Tire has now expanded its supply from the Kia PV5 to include the Hyundai Staria.
A Nexen Tire spokesperson stated: “With this OE supply, we have demonstrated that our one-tire strategy for both electric and internal combustion vehicles has been successful. We will continue working closely with automotive manufacturers to deliver tyres optimised for every powertrain.”
