Petlas Prime Comfort tyre
Petlas has expanded its summer tyre portfolio with the launch of the new Prime Comfort tyre, developed specifically for passenger cars. The model is available in 15-, 16- and 17-inch sizes and has been engineered to deliver a smooth, quiet and balanced driving experience.
The Prime Comfort range places a strong emphasis on ride comfort, combining balanced handling with low noise levels (maximum 69 dB) and reliable grip across various road surfaces. An optimised tread profile promotes even wear throughout the tyre’s lifespan, while low rolling resistance contributes to improved fuel efficiency.
To enhance safety, the Prime Comfort’s design features dense lateral grooves on the shoulders to improve traction and wet braking performance. Wider inner drainage grooves and four circumferential channels efficiently evacuate water, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. These characteristics are supported by a specially developed tread compound capable of achieving A or B wet grip label ratings.
On dry roads, a rigid outer shoulder and narrow groove structure help improve handling precision and cornering stability.
According to a company spokesperson, the tyre’s well-balanced construction enables Prime Comfort to perform reliably across a wide range of everyday driving scenarios, from city traffic to longer summer journeys.
