Prometeon’s Sustainability Report Highlights Strong ESG Progress

Prometeon Tyre Group has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, which reinforces the Group’s ESG strategy and underlines the central role of sustainability across all areas of the organisation.

Structured around four pillars – environmental, social, governance and economic – the report demonstrates how sustainability objectives have become an integral part of the company’s operations and strategic decision-making.

In 2025, renewable and high-efficiency sources accounted for 51.5 per cent of the Group’s total energy consumption, with 31.3 per cent coming from renewable sources, certified green electricity and biomass, whilst the remaining 20.2 per cent was generated by high-efficiency energy systems such as combined heat and power (CHP) plants.

The company continues to pursue a clear and ambitious long-term objective to achieve climate neutrality by 2040 through a pathway aligned with the 1.5°C target established by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The increase in the share of energy from renewable and high-efficiency sources, the growth in the use of recycled materials, and the recognition achieved through the CDP assessment demonstrate the soundness of the strategy we are implementing.

Prometeon applied the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards in preparing its 2025 Sustainability Report. The GRI framework guides organisations in transparently reporting their economic, environmental and social impacts, helping them assess and communicate how business activities affect society and the environment.
