Leading international rubber manufacturer and tyre retreading specialist Vipal Rubber concluded its appearance as an exhibitor at the recent The Tire Cologne show on an even greater level than at previous shows. The event served as the perfect platform for the company to reaffirm its current long-term commitment within the international market and further expand its partner network in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.

The Vipal team included directors, managers, technical and commercial experts who welcomed visitors from over twenty-five countries at its stand, including from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and even Latin America.

One of the highlights of the Vipal presentation was the lecture by Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal EMEA, who spoke on the panel “V® Super Hybrid”, which focused on Advanced Compounds for Tyre Retreading.

Mr Schmidt stated, “The challenges of mixed applications due to the increase in operating costs and pressures for efficiency and sustainability of fleets were discussed. From actual testing, we have confirmed our new compound has improved its performance by 11.5 per cent in the forest segment and 12.5 per cent in raw materials transportation, reducing tears and pullouts and preserving the integrity of the casing.”

In addition to the V® Super Hybrid compounds, visitors had the opportunity to view the high-performance treads VT570 and VL170A, as well as the DV-Ume tread, which has been developed specifically for electric vehicle (EV) fleets. This new product is currently in the final phase of field testing across several European countries, with positive results, reinforcing its potential to support the ongoing electrification of commercial fleets across the continent.

Felipe Henzel, Commercial Director – International Markets and Two-Wheels Division at Vipal Rubber says, “Participating in The Tire Cologne reaffirmed the relevance of our investment to further strengthen the Vipal brand. It also gave us the opportunity to deepen relationships with long-term partners, create new opportunities for collaboration, and reinforce our operation in Europe. As a result, we have increased the visibility and solidity of our global positioning.”

Headquartered in Brazil and operating in more than 90 countries, Vipal maintains a solid international strategy. The European branch is headquartered in Valencia, Spain, and for two decades the company has expanded its operational presence to over fifty countries and has three distribution centres in Spain, Slovenia and England plus a team of experienced personnel in the technical, commercial, administrative and customer service areas, with a structure prepared to cater to a demanding and highly specialised market.
