Westlake tyres now fitted to Red Bull driftracing team

Leading German motorsport contender Red Bull Driftbrothers has announced that ZC Rubber has been appointed as the team’s new official supplier and tyre Partner. Under this agreement ZC Rubber’s Westlake Sport RS performance tyres will be fitted to two of Red Bull Driftbrothers 1,000 BMW M4s cars.
The new partnership, which celebrated its debut at this year’s ADAC RAVENOL 24-hour Race at the famous Nurburgring race track is considered long term and provides both companies with numerous added values. Including providing the racing team with innovative technological developments based on feedback from driver Elias Hountondji. Whilst it also provides ZC Rubber with a higher profile for its Westlake brand throughout Europe.

Henry Shen, Deputy General Manager of Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) says, “We’re proud to be the tyre partner of Red Bull Driftbrothers and their trust in Westlake, especially the performance of our Sport RS tyre on the demanding drift circuit, is a powerful endorsement. The Red Bull Driftbrothers team are among Europe’s most successful professional drift teams. With over a decade of pro-spec drifting under their belt, they have accumulated over 110 international competition starts and more than 90 podium finishes. Whilst the Westlake a premium brand from ZC Rubber is regarded as one of the worlds Top 10 tyre manufacturers with a strong global presence in around 200 countries.
