Nexen stages its latest Purple Summit on future growth vision

Purple Summit 2025, Munich, Germany
Seoul based Nexen Tire has recently staged this year’s highly successful global partnership event – Purple Summit 2025 which was held in Munich, Germany for the very first time from the 25th to 27th April.
For the past nine years, Purple Summit has served as a worldwide marketing platform enabling Nexen to host its major global partners to share and be part of the company’s long-term vision and collaborative roadmap for the future. The event made its debut in Germany this year following Nexen’s recent partnership with FC Bayern Munchen football club.
Nexen started supplying original equipment products in 2012 and since then has continually captured and strengthened partnerships with leading car manufacturers around the world. Whilst the company’s new European production plant in Zatec in the Czech Republic is expected to complete its second phase of manufacturing capacity during the course of this year.
Nexen currently has an active sales presence in around 150 countries which accounts for 85 per cent of its total revenue generated internationally. The company’s annual revenue has achieved ongoing growth and stood at South Korean Won (KRW) 2.85 trillion in 2024.
The Purple Summit is an important forum for sharing our strategic vision in close collaboration with our worldwide partners and we will continue to improve brand credibility in major markets and achieve further long-term growth.
Travis Kang, Global CEO of Nexen Tire
