Prinx Chengshan confirms revenue growth despite lower profit

For the six months ending 30 June 2026, Prinx Chengshan has announced total revenue of RMB5,786.3 million, a 1.4 per cent increase year-on-year. Gross profit rose 2.9 per cent to RMB975.0 million, with the margin inching up to 16.9 per cent.
At the same time, profit attributable to shareholders decreased by 18.5 per cent to RMB413.7 million, impacted by increased foreign exchange losses and higher income tax expenses.
Sales volume reached approximately 14.8 million tyres, underlining a 4.4 per cent increase. All Steel Radial Tyre revenue increased by 5.1 per cent to RMB3,317.5 million, while Semi-Steel Radial Tyre revenue decreased by 4.4 per cent to RMB2,353.1 million.
Also direct sales to automobile manufacturers surged upwards by 25.8 per cent to RMB995.7 million, with international distributor channels falling by 7.9 per cent to RMB3,586.9 million.
The company advanced its key manufacturing projects during this period, including its new production base in Malaysia and the OTR tyre project in Shandong, which commenced initial giant tyre production earlier this year.
