Extreme H hydrogen powered racing starts next month!
Yokohama Rubber has recently entered a new pioneering partnership with Extreme H, the world’s first hydrogen powered off-road racing championship as the official tyre partner.
The first event will take place in October in Saudi Arabia with Yokohama supplying a prototype tyre based on its Geolandar X-AT all-terrain tyre. Which features strengthened durability for heavy hydrogen powered and EV off-road vehicles and designed to withstand the most extreme environments along with a 38 per cent renewable and recycled raw material content.
The FIA Extreme H World Cup is the evolution of the award-winning Extreme E Championship and Yokohama’s expertise in tyre technology will play a pivotal role in supporting the championship’s transition to hydrogen-powered racing.
